He has also been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers Association as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer in Connecticut. He has achieved the honor of being named a Fellow by the American Association for Justice, a national organization dedicated exclusively to protecting the rights of the injured and defenseless. Aaron is an active member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, the Hartford County Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Association. He is admitted in both State and Federal Courts. In addition to being a partner at Jainchill & Beckert, LLC, Attorney Jainchill serves as Assistant Town Attorney for Vernon-Rockville, Connecticut — position he has held since 2007. On the topic of deciding to practice law, Attorney Bill Beckert explained, “I am often asked why I became a lawyer. I had a great teacher in high school who saw that I loved to debate (argue) in civics class, and how I would always take the side with the harder case. I have always been drawn to fighting for the person, or for the causes, that demand fairness and to be treated justly. That is why I love being a lawyer.” For over 25 years, Attorney Beckert has represented people and businesses in every court in Connecticut. Today, his practice is focused mainly in the courts of New Britain, Hartford, Waterbury and Torrington. However, he is often asked to handle cases throughout the state. Attorney Beckert’s passion is representing injured people, and helping those who find themselves in their worst situations. “It’s incredibly rewarding — I help them get back on their feet again. I help people become whole again.” Motor vehicle collisions, work injuries, premises liability cases, slip-and-falls and dog bites are among the other cases in which Attorney Beckert has been noted for his track record and success. “These injuries can cause economic and non-economic hardship. Medical bills and lost wages are one thing, but the pain, anxiety and uncertainty created as a result of someone else’s negligence, or carelessness, can leave a permanent impact on a person’s life. It is my responsibility to make sure that person receives the compensation to which the law entitles them,” he Beckert is often called upon to utilize his experience in the insurance industry, real estate, probate and business law. He has an extensive network of relationships and is very active in the regional community, and in the Plainville area. On what you can expect when you choose Jainchill & Beckert to represent you: “When you contact me, I will strive to ensure that you feel secure in your decision to hire me. At our first meeting, I will ask lots of questions, but mostly will let you do the talking, so I can understand what the case is about and what it means to you. We will move efficiently and diligently, to make sure your case is handled correctly. We know you only have one opportunity to present your case, so it will be done thoroughly and methodically. That may mean going to court. I am certainly not afraid of that fight. However, how a case is handled is ultimately driven by our client. Our goal in every situation is to listen, advise you about your risks and options, and ultimately navigate each case to the best result that can be obtained. When he is not practicing law, Bill enjoys spending time with his family in Unionville, following the Red Sox and UConn Huskies, listening to ‘80s music, and cleaning up after his dog, Brody, and his cat, Brewster.
